| Frame | BCD Vite (with a 7spd internally geared Rohloff gear box geared high to make up for the small front chainring) w/a 5th Element 2.75" stroke ti spring shock (16.5" chainstays, 23" toptube, 64-65degree h/a, 13"bb, Walt Wehner built, bushnell type eccentric bottom bracket, 8" of travel) | | Front Fork | 7" 05 Boxxer WC w/SIC integrated stem, full ti bolt kit, ti springs and enduro seals | | Bottom Bracket | Raceface Signature DH Isis | | Cranks | Raceface Northshore 165mm, helecoiled pedal inserts for a left side drive (necessary with the integrated gearbox in the frame) | | Chainrings | 32t MRP w/black E.13 trials bashguard (to increase ground clearance with the low bb) | | Pedals | Wellgo MG1 | | Front Derailleur | none | | Chain | KMC 510HX singlespeed | | Rear Derailleur | none | | Cogset | one custom 1/8" stainless steel 18t cog | | Hubs | rear: the internal gearbox would require a custom hub be built, ideally a 36h hubshell with 6 bolt disc mounts on both sides, so the cog would bolt onto the hub rather than threading on (reducing the chance of the cog unthreading mid run), and a 135x20mm axle. front: Hadley 36h 20mm | | Skewers | t/a front and rear | | Spokes | DT Swiss double butted f/r, DT brass nipples | | Rims | Mavic EX823 36h f/r | | Tubes | Stans NoTubes | | Tires | Michelin Comp 16 2.5 f/r | | Brakes | Magura Gustav, 160mm rotor rear, 190mm rotor front, stainless brake lines | | Seatpost | Thomson Masterpiece cut down nice and short | | Saddle | Tioga MC Lite w/team black and white graphics | | Headset | King Perdido integrated | | Stem | SIC integrated | | Handlebars | SIC race bars, uncut | | Shifters | Sram 7spd X.9 (this would basically require a whole new set of guts and a new shifting display, but the sram triggers are the best shifting system going, and since this is a dream bike, I guess I can have them anyway) | | Brake Levers | Magura Gustav w/slightly shorter than stock lever blades with a bigger knob on the end | | Bar Tape | ODI Ruffian flanged 130mm lockons | | Extras | full ti bolt kit, all parts black, Nokon shift housing w/XTR inner cable, DKG seat collar, carbon headset spacers, drilled out ti chainring washers (idea borrowed from RD performance), Porsche valvecaps, Metal Bikes barend plugs, silver BCD stickers on the top tube |

Super light (I figure mid to high 30s) whilst still being obscenely strong. I basically think that this is the direction that DH bikes are going, and it will be helped alot if someone can come up with a simplified internal gearbox that manufacturers could build frames around. I have been a fan of BCD's unique approach to bike building for a while now, so I figured they'd be a great company to undertake such a design. The geometry would allow the bike to be very stable (slack and really low) but stil flickable (because it is short.) That's it!
