these single track are about the windiest ones you can find, tons of cornering, great practice, fun rides. but they are not really fast, there is a couple of reallly good rolling sections. tons of trees, rocks, short technical climbs. and did i mention alot of corners? there is about 6 single tracks varying from a mile to 2 and a half miles a piece (that i have found at least)
after you get to the end of the first single track you will pop out only a couple hundred feet from where you started. if you go left there is another trail head on your left about 100 feet down.this one ends about 100 feet down that road also, if you go left again when you get out of that one take a left again and another single track awaits you a c ouple of hundred feet further down the road.
i'll give you a hint on the others, all the single track is within about a mile radius.
the double track trails at this place connect all the way to bear brook, and if you get on the railroad bed you can take that to past newmarket, i think it goes to seabrook, almost 45 miles away.
take 101 east of manchester to exit 2. take a right off the offramp and go about 2 miles until you come to a stop sign, take a left and continue a 1000 yards or so until you come to a dirt road. about 100 feet onto the dirt road park on either side of road and a trail head is on the left. this is not the single track though, this just leads up to it. if you stay on what looks to be the main trail until you cross a small bridge and then take nothing but lefts you will come to a rather large field with a road on the other side. on the right side of the field about a quarter of the way across there is a trail head to a single track. maybe someone who reviews the trails can give better directions.
Summary: The FOMBA (http://www.fomba.org/) and the surrounding snowmobile trails are some fantastic riding. But the ride description is incorrect. The FOMBA trails are in Auburn, not Candia & Manchester.
Recommended Route: Park in the lot on Depot Rd, just south of exit 2 Rt101, and have at it. All the trails are great. Red Pine & Hemlock Loop are probably the fastest singletrack. Don't miss the log roll at the end of Rde Pine - great fun. Fire Line is my favorite all around trail. Long Trail is cool, but it's a killer.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Brear Brook in Allenstown, Pawtuckaway in Nottingham, plus coutless snowmobile & rail trails all over that area.

Summary: I'm from Fitchburg, Ma but I make the trip up here to ride every once and a while with my friends. This place is great for everyone. The trails are EXTREMELY winding, and are not fast trails but are very fun. Rides are virtually all singletrack, only riding fireroads to connect trails which are really only about 100 feet apart. It's also pretty much impossible to get lost on thes trails. No side trails jutting out during singletrack, all the trails lead to the fireroad. Trails are very well maintained, and just a general fun ride for everybody. Have fun with the log roll on red pine. Not very aerobically challenging because it's so short, but still a great ride.
Recommended Route: Link all of the singletrack to make it one continuous ride.

Summary: i'm from NY but i come to NH every summer since i was a young lad... i find this place to be fairly simular to NY style of riding without all the jumps, logrides, and man made stuff (i like that since i freeride mostly at home but it's not necessary all the time). this place is clean cut and fun. not crazy hard but the stuff here is good and extremely biker friendly (maybe a bit too much because the trails are maintained so well).
i love how all the trails are in shorter sections and are looped togather. if you start out and get tired its not hard to get back to a main trail and head back. its got alot to ride on and has some tricky sections.
this place has something for everyone. good beginner stuff and some good stuff for the more experianced. some fast turny trails with a few obsticals. extremely well maintained and biker friendly. good senery and nice people. check it out.
Recommended Route: don't know its all good just ride.

Summary: Every trail shows lots of time and effort to make, after all i did help make their newest trail. Definitely check this place out if you haven't already i usually spend 3 hours or so and have lots of fun riding by the lake at sunset. There is trails for beginners all the way to those of you that like very tecnical rides.
Recommended Route: All the trails are good except the sampler.

Summary: Its a very nice, clean cut and well maintained trail system. Very biker friendly. A very nice place. I don't want to take anything away from the FOMBA people, but they trails are SO boring I go out of my mind. Once I discovered Fort Rock in exeter, I abandoned massebesic all together. There is no challenge at massebesic. Fort Rock on the other hand is pure joy, and just as biker-friendly!
Recommended Route: You string each trail together to make one long trail
