Founded in 1981 by Scot Nicol, Ibis Cycles was one of the original innovators on the mountain bike scene. Fast forward twenty-five years and Ibis is going strong. Scot has been joined by two industry veterans and a total newbie to rave reviews on the new carbon mountain and road bikes.

Hans Heim, formerly a behind-the-scenes driving force and honch at Santa Cruz Bicycles for their first ten years (and Bontrager and Specialized before that) provides the main horsepower to the company. Tom Morgan is our heavy lifter, and after stints at Giant, Answer and Titec he knows how to do it all. Roxy Lo has never designed anything for the bike industry and that's exactly how we want it. One look at the new Mojo carbon and you'll see what a fresh, unjaded outlook on designing bikes can produce. She's got the street cred too, having worked as a designer for a company you've all heard of. Scot sits in his basement office and drools most of the time.

We're holding true to the Ibis way, and that is designing bikes that we want to ride. It's as simple as that.
