Interbike 2007

New Blitz II Frame

Of course there is the venerable Blitz II: The frame that put us on the map. Pictured here is the 2007 version (which by the way just won the MTBR “best of” award in the freeride category). For 2008 we will make a couple of improvements to the frame:

The 2008 Blitz II will retain its comfortable and flickable geometry that made it famous. Although the new Blitz II still boasts all needle bearings (externally greaseable), the main pivot will incorporated 4 thrust washers instead of 2 which improves the wear resistance of the washers so the thrust loads are being handled by two washers instead of one at any given time. Also we’ve redesigned the rocker link to make it lighter and incorporated a new anodized finish. The 2008 Blitz II will also have a 1.5 head tube and overall will be 1 lb lighter.
