| The bottom bracket is the heart of the frame. In order to maximize pedaling efficiency, Look has developed a proprietary technique called "Compressed Carbon Technology". The precise positioning of carbon fibres inside the mould combined with very high-pressure compression during the moulding process produces a very light and a very stiff bottom bracket shell. The weight of the bottom bracket is only 130g with a 170N/mm stiffness rating once the frame has been assembled. You feel the bike accelerate as you transmit power with each pedal stroke. |
