Submitted by EDS1973 a Cross Country Rider from Visalia, CA, USA
Date Reviewed: January 12, 2010
Favorite Trail:Kaiser
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $125.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Looks great, good attention to detail
Weaknesses:Pricey!
Similar Products Used:FSA, Cane Creek IS2 and IS3
Bike Setup:Bamboo road bike, like Calfee
Bottom Line:The headset spacers look great, the grain pattern on the Maple matches throughout. It is extremely expensive for a computer milled piece. But then there's the fact that it's unusual and different, which is worth a bit of dough. A standard FSA or Cane Creek IS2 is in the $25 to $45 range. This is 3-6 times that, and the only real difference is the spacer? HMMMMMM? Well I paid it, so I guess that means it was worth it to me! Works exactly like any other headset.......................
