    Favorite Trail:ralph.horrocks@ntlworld.com
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $120.00
    Purchased At:Ebay
    Strengths:Strong, no flexing.
Weaknesses:Seals gave up after 8 months, started creaking, allowed mud and dirt into the bearings.
Bike Setup:Giant Reign 3, Fox Talas RL, Mavic Crossride, SDG Ibeam, Juicy 5's, FSA Afterbuner MegaExo
Bottom Line:They are very strong and theres little or no flexing, but it just doesnt last. I took them apart and found that the non-drive side had seized up, gone rusty and was filled with lots of Welsh mud. Im going to upgrade to Enduro Ceramic bearings and replacement cups and see if they are better.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $39.00
    Purchased At:LBS
    Strengths:Pretty color
Weaknesses:Plastic shims and sheilds break after 2 months. Bearings seize from side thrust. ID oversized and spindle must be hammered into place.
    Similar Products Used:Raceface X
    Bike Setup:GT Moto
Bottom Line:Skip these and go straight to RACE FACE.

Submitted by Mark Doyle a Cross Country Rider from UK
    Date Reviewed: September 8, 2006
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $150.00
    Strengths:Stiff, smooth and light.
Weaknesses:The product doesn't last very long, had it about six months. Probably due to not re-installing with a torque wrench. Cartridge bearings are easily damaged with too much side loading (over tightening). The plastic bushes between the axle and bearing are very britle and break easily. Due to muddy condition in Britain and Les Gets in over summer bearing have worn out and need replacing.
Similar Products Used:Shimano square taper cartridge bottom brackets UN 72. These in my experiecne last on average 3-4 years. They are definently not as ridgid as Mega exo sytem but last longer when used for commuting and XC.
    Bike Setup:Hardtail
Bottom Line:Will try another one, but set up with park tool torque wrench. If that doesn't last maybe back to the old cartridge bottom bracket.
