    Favorite Trail:Madrone
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:Gamutusa.com
Strengths:Ultra light weight design is optimal for your mountaincross race rig. easy to set up and care free once it is. Smooth ball bearing roller on the bottom and polyeurethane guide box on top makes for smooth, reliable, quiet chain management.
    oh, and it's light.
Weaknesses:thin aluminum bash guard is more of a guide plate than a bash guard. Will only take minimal abuse like soft dirt jumps or other moderate impacts.
Similar Products Used:Mrp, E13, Truvativ, Black Spire
    Bike Setup:Planet X Split Tail w/ RockShox Revelation 429, holzfeller 170mm, 38t e13 ring.
Bottom Line:If you want to know that everytime you hit the pedals you can rely on your chain being there, and do it at a minimal weight this is definately the chain guide for you.
I still have yet to drop my chain while riding since I started using Gamut Chain Guides.

If you are looking for something that has the same light weight design, but can take a little more abuse, you might be looking for the Gamut p40. It has a plastic type guide plate that is a bit more durable and stands up better under impact.
