$60.00 | | Purchased At: | singletrack uk | | Strengths: | BIG, good all over grip, not too grippy that you stick to them, but enough to alow you movement, removable pins (grub screws!) | | Weaknesses: | Can't access the bearings as the cap head sockect at the end of the pedal must be glued in or something so you can't maintain them which is crap as after a week they begin to become very spinny pedals, not good when you are airbourne with your feet off the pedals and looking to put them back on before you land!!! You get me? | | Similar Products Used: | Atom lab, DMR, Primo | | Bike Setup: | Curtis SX24 custom, Fox Vanilla 125's, profile | | Bottom Line: | A massive pedal that is good at first but do not last long in performace. Better on a DH bike than a Dirt jumper cos of the pedals being a bit too spinny for my liking and also let down by the non maintainable factor! A bit expensive over on this side of the atlantic (I picked them up in the UK), but well worth it. They have taken a BEATING as I've learned to race DH and just have a few scratches on them. They spin like they're brand new, I've replaced about half the pins (which have even ripped out, all without destroying the threads). They are immense, about 10x11cm, much bigger than anything else I've seen, even the Atomic Aircorps. I'd recommend these without hesitation.
