from Denver, CO Date Reviewed: May 2, 2005 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Purchased At: | 80 | | Strengths: | bigger platform that is easy to find and get on when foot slips off during technical sections. | | Weaknesses: | hard to clip into. sharp studs on platform are too sticky to allow your shoe to move around to get into the clips. | | Similar Products Used: | ritchey, spd, speedplay | | Bike Setup: | Mountain Cycle San Andreas | | Bottom Line: | don't buy them. I've tried clipless pedals since they came out in the 80's, these are at the bottom of the pile. they were a source of frustration out on the trail, so I decided to dump them, and switched to my version 1 Ritcheys. I really wanted them to work out for me, have been looking for a good platform pedal, but just not executed well. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
