Strengths:
SO far this fork is superb. I bought it with a ti spring in it. It is both supple and smooth with nice ramp up. Its been great for everything from jumping to dh and even for climbing back up. When climbing the fork settles down and doesnt bob much. It feels better than any other fork ive felt
Weaknesses:
So far nothing

Strengths:
stiff in all the right ways. reasonably light considering its so stiff and a single crown. very very supple
Weaknesses:
it is a tall fork and i light a low front end. it doesn't help that my frame has a long headtube either. some might find it too heavy.
Similar Products Used:
boxxers, pikes, 888 (not mine though) and other big forks
Bike Setup:
soul cycles sluggo (great frame and company), travis, gravity dh parts, and loco wheels
Bottom Line:
the one i have is an OE type as it has TCP damping in it not the intrinsic which i hear is more temperamental. the dampening is the reason i choose this for over others. also the one i has is the 180mm not the 203mm and its still a pretty tall fork. i would not say this is a great race fork.
its a great for thus far. i'm a big guy at 260ish w/o gear and this fork goes where i point it. i will be racing it this weekend it in a dh hard tail class at massanutten. i have done some good size drops on it now and it has never companied for a bottom out or anything. also the thing feels like a magic carpet on the front of the bike. pretty much all the bumps big and small are gone.
also ironically the fork also DJ ok as it doesn't load up too much and take the pop of the lip away.
its pretty much the perfect gravity play for. it can do pretty much anything you ask of it
