    Date Reviewed: August 17, 2003
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:super stiff, plush, cheap. soaks up everything, you can easily fit a 2.7 and still have tons of clearance. probably could put a 3" on there but I've never tried it. 36 mm stantions!!!!!!!
Weaknesses:I somehow blew the dampening system, its 80 bucks to replace it. stickers are just plain stupid looking so i took them off. but the lowers scratch really easy.
Similar Products Used:jr.t, shiver both dc and sc. '03 dj1, psylo, jett, prity much everything offered on giant and diamondback bikes
Bike Setup:identiti dr. jekyll, halo combat rims, diatech (they hooked me up), maxxis high rollers 2.5 and 2.7(sick) truvativ bars stem crank and chainguide and shimano deore
Bottom Line:this is an awesome fork for the money. its prity much the same buy as a jr.t or boxxer race, but a little less money 1 inch less travel and alot stiffer and more reliable than boxxer race. if you want to put a 6" travel fork on your hardtail or dual suspetion bike. this would be a great way to go. after a year of hardcore abuse, i've found that this holds up to almost anything. i busted my wrists last summer on a 10 foot to flat(that obviously i messed up on) and i'm working myself back up to big drops again. like 7' to flat and big gaps.

Submitted by Jerry a Downhiller from seattle, wa, usa
    Date Reviewed: December 1, 2002
    Favorite Trail:jap gultch
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $400.00
Strengths:great fork for the price, retails at $600. stiff, strong, can take prity much anything you can throw at it
Weaknesses:some stiction, dampening is very hard to adjust to what you like
Bike Setup:custom motiv frame with 6 inches of travel
    bombshell betty
    truvativ firex
truvativ 38 tooth dh chainring, roller guide
shimano deore derailure and rapid fire shifter
    diatech spiral stop disk brakes
Love 2.7 semitubless tire (front only, rear can't fit more than 2.5)

Bottom Line:its a great fork if you can't afford anything more, but if you can afford it, buy something by rock shox, or marzocchi.
