from So Cal Date Reviewed: December 20, 2007 | | Favorite Trail: | Tunnel Rockstar + More | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Price Paid: |
$450.00 | | Purchased At: | online | | Strengths: | Extremely reliable, tuneable, burly.with ti spring barely heavier than a fox, looks, PERFORMANCE!!!! | | Weaknesses: | NONE!!! The weight of a fox dhx 5.0 and a dhs is only 2-3ozs. Avys are weighed with oil and bushings. | | Similar Products Used: | fox stratos manitou | | Bike Setup: | Canfield F1 - Avalanche DHS Ti spring - I-9's - 888WC - middleburns etc.... | | Bottom Line: | This is the only shock that I will run, it has complete adjustments and is relaible. I have never blown or damaged my shock in 3 years of stupid riding and drops to flat. It can also be used as a race shock, I use it all the time. They can be rebuild and tuned as well as shimmed for rider style/weight and terrain as well as a DH set up or a FR valving. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
