They are not balanced and have a wobble to them. When my bike is on the stand the wheels will rock like a pendulum. You can imagine what that feels like at 25 MPH on the road. I have used them twice and can not stand them. If they were balanced they would be nice but this issue kills the whole tire value and benefit. WTB rims and hubs. Avid BB7. RS Reba SL. Thomson. etc. | | Bottom Line: | A very nice tire for the every-day commuter. I put these on my mountain hardtail, and commuting just became a lot more fun. These things roll with barely any resistance, and acceleration from dead stop is retardedly fast. I barely break a sweat now on my 10 mile commute. They're so freakin' quiet, that i have to cough or whistle to get people to hear me coming up on them. In fact, if i stop pedaling, i can barely hear myself roll. The grip on these is amazing, i can still cut super sharp corners without worrying about wiping out. There is a lot of sand where i ride, and i've had no problems with traction.
They're a tad on the heavy side (i gained 0.5lbs by swapping my mountain rubbers for these), but the pros far outweigh this small con. With the smoothness and small rolling resistance you gain, the weight is not noticeable at all.
Get these! You won't be disappointed!

Also, the "Continental" word on the tire just came off when I was wiping the tire....now it's just a big, white spot where the name was. I think Continental should rename these tires to “Urban Stealth” or something like that. Cycle Cops might want to look at these tires for their rides as well, you can sneak up on folks easily. These tires worked well on packed and rocky trails and floated well over the occasional sandy spots. The thickness and depth of tread helps stop the desert thorn, flat tire problem I have here in El Paso. This is a good all purpose tire, just like a "all season radial tire" for a car, does most things well but will not work in extreme conditions.

And what I mean by that is I do a lot of technical stair gaps manuals nose wheelies fufanu's basically I do BMX tricks on a MTB bike. These tires are thick and tough! The ride is smooth as a baby's well you know what I mean. They work great on packed dirt, sand and all that loose crap. As I said above these tires are very nice. They are great for all around use and that does not mean DH and other crazy crap some of you Psychos do :-). I haven't found anything better yet. I will never give a perfect score on anything man made. Since we are human and make mistakes I am sure there has to be something wrong I just haven't found it yet.

Most of my riding is on hardpack, asphalt, packed dirt, gravel and sand. I was surprised how well these work on gravel and sand while still handling asphalt so well. While I haven't taken them thru lotsa mud, the experience I had with them on wet and partially muddy trails was also impressive. Overall, they are excellent with great handling and braking control. Another bonus is that they work well with ridgid bikes with their fat cross section. I got exactly what I wanted. They also look good.
