Cross Country Rider Summary: Went & rode Dash Pointe for the second time today Tues. 2/22/05. Spent about an 1.5 hr. on it today. I really like this trail, good up-hill & downhill sections, plus new signs. Techincal/ slow parts, makes you think. Find something new everytime I go out. Hey, plus there were some hot female/ friendly X-C runners out on the trails. I would recommend this trial to everyone, except maybe the D-Hillers, they'd probably get bored.
NumbSkull Like X-C runners. Recommended Route: Start at the campsite, head East/South, look for the signs, they are self explanatory; "The Downhill."

Weekend Warrior Summary: I have been organizing the trail work parties in this park, and coordinating with the park rangers. They are being very supportive.
We have organized 2 bicycle groups, Boy scout troops, church groups, and a group of runners to work on the trail and as a result they are in great shape. This informal group of trail uses is call Friends Of Dashpoint State Park.
Come on and try out our newest trail "log Jam". Also known as HFT (Hard F'n Trail)
It's a challenging one!
Email me at Friendsofdashpoint@msn.com if you want a map.
Also let me know if you are interested in helping out with new trails, or maintenance on existing trails.
Enjoy the ride! Patrick Robinson Recommended Route: Climb on your bike and go! Other recommended trails in the same area: Lake Sawyer, Victor Falls.
Hook up with "Team Tailwind" from "Phil's Southside Bike Shop" in Federal Way. They do trail rides and road rides. Email Phil at PHILTHEMECHANIC@AOL.com

Weekend Warrior Summary: I have been riding here since 1986 and I use it mainly for exercise (I live near by), it is a good trail with good short downhill sections and some pretty good climbs that do get your heart going, muddy in winter, semi technical, if you ride at a quick pace 2 full loops of this park will take about two hours and you will be tired or there are several trails that branch off of the main trails and you barely have to ride the same stuff twice and still get in a few hours of good riding great for begginers and experts alike another thing is I have ridden there for 17 years and have never had a run in with the rangers ( maybey I am just in the right place at the right time ) watch out for runners walkers may-sept, have a good one!! Recommended Route: everything but the lowest portion of the park

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a nice trail for the area. I live about a mile away. This trail has sections an upper and lower. The summer months brings out alot of runners/walkers. Winters are best since its just us bikers. There are two groups that have been doing work on the trail every week and lately NMBA has been out working on the trails. They have resolved issues with the rangers and are working with and have their permission on building new trails and fixing them.
There are some locals who are destroying bridges, teeter tottar, etc. So if you see them please let the ranger know.
Its an awesome trail if you have a few hours to bomb around. Recommended Route: Start out on Hoyt road and then go up Heart Break Hill (they are building a new trail going along that trail... cant wait) head left to nite crawler, then come back and go down a new very fast down hill technical trail. Head back up to nitecraweler but hear right instead of left. Ride to BMX trail. then head to Crackers Crossing (you had to be a cracker to cross it--now its more easier) head to beach then head back up...
