Water Company Roads with tons of trail leading off the sides that lead to Guilford and Durham. Main trail is gravel/dirt, and there are at least 15 trails that branch off of it. Lots of singletrack, recently marked by Regional Water Authority. They say you need a permit, but I have never been asked for one. The Main trail is maybe 3 miles long, and the trails leading off it are maybe 3-5 that lead to Hoop Pole road and the Guilford Gun club (be careful around here). So many trails, havent even biked them all yet.
Route 79, long stretch and at the end, going north, it is on your left, I don't reccomend driving there yourself, unless you have a permit and you know the combination.
Summary: This trail seems to be a bit boring at first, but once you start going down some of the side trails you will see that they lead you to amazing trails. You can go to north guilford and to durham through these trails. The main trails is like a truck trail that in some parts is actually paved, but mostly gravel. There is a dirtbike track on this trail and parking for your car, but you need a permit so that you can know the combination to the gate.
Recommended Route: Two Ways: Route 80, Race Hill Road North, all the way at the end, or, Route 79 going north on left maybe 3-4 miles after the circle, big sign.
Other recommended trails in the same area: North Guilford, Route 17 North, on left is an amzing place to go riding, these trails will lead you to it as well.
