The trails around the dead river basin are good, and I ride them often. My grandmother lives on the basin, so I go there and ride, while I'm visiting her. A word of caution is to watch out for steep hills, expecially on dry days, because the sand seeps out from under your tires. After a rain storm, or after the snow melts are the best times to ride the trails in my opinion. (More puddles). Just ride with caution when riding there and have fun! Recommended Route:
All routes seem reasonable Other recommended trails in the same area:
Blueberry Ridge trail system.
