Strengths:Strong frame, nice suspension that is flawless.I bought a small frame on ebay for $250.00 and transfered some components from another frame and bought some others on ebay.I have a nice 6" suspension bike at 32 lbs. and $800.
Weaknesses:FRAME IS STRONG BUT ON THE HEAVY SIDE.I am 5'11" and ride the small frame. It is perfect .I noticed other posts of people wishing they had gotten a smaller frame. The chainstays are on the long side.

Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $300.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:See Below this is a follow up reveiw
Weaknesses:Paint, heavy
Similar Products Used:rage, dmoed others stuff
Bike Setup:Same as below cept teh rear shock
Bottom Line:Ok here is a follow up reveiw on this one. i sitll love this Bike and it still isnt broken and i have abused this bad boy all year. took a whie but My Brother and myself finally figured out why it was soo stiff... if you purchase a large frame you get a 750lb spring stock..... the Spring from fox is actually TOO long for the shock. its three turns preloaded when its as relaxed as safely possible. well we fixed that in an unconventional matter. most would thin hey just get a different spring right? .... well anotehr friend of our rides a Big hit and he Bought the 8" kit for his and had nearly the same shock left over its a little different in teh measurements though so i thought what the heck ill give it a go. so i went from a 7.5 eye to eye shock with 2.0 stroke length to a 7 and 7/8 inch shock with a 2.25 " stroke. setup with my New fork and the 24" wheel in teh back teh head angle is absolutly perfect and i gained 3/4 in travel in the rear. absolutly no trouble with binding smoothness noise anything works excellent and can be Stiff or awesomely squishy. well anwyays enjoy and ride when you can

Similar Products Used:khs rage
Bike Setup:fr1500 frame race face prodigy DH cranks and bb xt drive train doublewide wheels 24 inch rear 26 inch fron z150 fork
avid 8" brakes front and rear
Bottom Line:this is Truly a freeriders bike its Built tough and its a single crown design made for the guy who isnt afraid to climb to the top to show what he is made of. i got this Bike dialed in perfect now after Putting a 34 inch rear wheel and using a really good fork i have the head tube angle Just right for awesome controll and durability

Favoriate Trail:Iron Hill
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:ebay
Strengths:Incredible, simply put. everything about this frame is a strength. suspension components are extremely well made and the sealed bearings in every pivot point makes this an exceptional bike.
Weaknesses:none that i find, a little stiff even with lowest preload setting and im 220 lbs.
Similar Products Used:tank dh
Bike Setup:KHS FR1500 frame, lx cranks, xt rapid fire shifters and rapid rise rear deraileur, deore front derail, avid mech 203mm front and back, marzocchi z1 drop off I ETA, Kore DS/FR freeride wheelset, power tools bars, cane creek headset, mallet C pedals, WTB seat, ODI rogue grips. bored yet?
Bottom Line:This frame is the very best frame ive ever ridden and i will love this bike for years to come, i ride very gentle freeride (Iron hill is about as sick as i get offroad, i go do stair drops and other urban things in U of DE territory) i havent done any major drops yet, but so far this bike is incredible, it sucks up the little stuff without even feeling like the suspension is compressing, and then it takes the curb drops and tree roots like theyre nothing, cant wait to get to iron hill with this bad boy.

go khs, badass looking frames, excelent performance, and seriously low cost if you know where to buy aaaaahhh-ebay-choo!!!!!!! hint hint

Favoriate Trail:City Park/Emma Long
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $1200.00
Purchased At:Better Bikes on Ebay
Strengths:Great build quaity and finish. Awesome components for the money. Beefy, downhill quality bars, and stem. Adjustable frame travel and agile size it make it great for just about any kind of riding!
Weaknesses:Not a real big fan of the Fox Vanilla 125 or the rear Vanilla R. But what do you expect from this price range? There has to be some weak spots to keep the price low, and it's more fun to upgrade stuff and personalize the bike! Brakes were a little hard to get dialed, but no worries now.
Similar Products Used:Kona Coiler. I really wanted a Ellsworth ID, or Moment, but the price of an Ellsworth frame is twice as much as this complete bike!
Bike Setup:Manitou Swinger 4way in back, Sun Mammoth DH w/XT disc wheels, XT rear derailer, S&M pedals, and ODI rogue lockons. I am going to be swapping out the fox or a Manitou Sherman firefly in Urban Camo, with thru axle soon though.
Bottom Line:This is a great bike for anyone! Whether you are a racer or just getting started, this bike has the ability to do it all. A great four-bar long travel all mountain frame, good components, but most importantly and all around good starting point for building your custom dream bike.

This bike handles great and pedals amazingly well thanks in part to the Swinger.

You just can't go wrong here...
