Submitted by Ben a Racer from Auckland, New Zealand
Date Reviewed: January 5, 2008
Favorite Trail:cambridge bmx track NZ
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $150.00
Purchased At:Airborne closeout sale
Strengths:ridgid frame no flex around the bottom bracket. reliable, high bottom bracket meant good ground clearance so Rider could pedal over rollers e.t.c, looks unique never seen any one else ride one.
Weaknesses:heavier than most other race frames available, weird steering geometry, high bottom bracket meant didn't feel planted while cornering hard, also doesn't feel right in the air.
Bike Setup:cane creek headset, macneil silencer, bar odi rogue grips, easton atom stem answer carbon scythe fork, amoeba carbon cranks ,euro conversion kit for bottom bracket, avid single digit 5 brakes shimano dx hubs laced to velocity rims and stainless spokes.
Bottom Line:sweet frame looked the part too, rode it for one season but decided to move back to riding an FMF frame
Value Rating:5Overall Rating:3
