Amazing how such a small adjustment (2 in. rise) can totally change the feeling of the bike. I don't know why, but I seem to ride faster and longer with these bars. Maybe because of the increased ride comfort due to the less "hunch down" position with the straight bar.

Looks perfect in black. Never had any problems with it for the year or so that I'd been using the bar. It didn't bend when I landed the bike off a 3-foot ledge in a nearby park, but then I only weigh some 140 lbs thereabouts.
I avoided the "slipping grips" problem right from the start by using ODI Lock-on grips and I clamped them on real tight. The only problem now is that the grips slip just a little between the lock rings. That's actually a problem with the grips and not the bar.
The only niggle is that the bar doesn't have quite enough room both sides of the stem clamping area to mount the bike lights level. My lights ended up just slightly tilted. I don't usually use the lights anyway as I ride mostly weekend afternoons and evenings so it didn't really bother me. And for the price I paid, it shouldn't qualify as a problem at all.

$35.00 | | Bottom Line: | After purchasing the bars i can now see that your grips will become loosened easly if the bars get wet. A simple remedy i found that worked great was to put a thin layer of electrical tape on the bars right under were you would be placing your grips(Make sure it's nice and smooth with no crease). Spray a little hair spray on the inside of your grips and slide them on. Solid! Dont waste your money on lock downs.

Gives lots of control in tight sections. Easton make it so you know it won't break. I really really like it and it's probably the last bar i'll have to buy for the bike.
One niggle is that the rought finish on the bar makes grips not adhere very well in wet conditions so either wire your grips on or buy lock on's. Minor problem really.
Much better value for money than the EA70 and only slightly heavier.
