Submitted by Russ Smith a Racer from Bristol
Date Reviewed: July 31, 2002
Favorite Trail:Ashton Court
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:Bike, Queens Ave, Clifton, Bristol
Strengths:Quite simply this bike is breathtaking - right through from the frame to the name. The frame suits my way of cycling (like a nutter) and my desire for originality. It is engineered perfectly. It is for these reasons (& others) that I have now upgraded the bike to a value of £1,800.
Weaknesses:I felt that the components were poor considering the build quality and reputation of Haro, especially the RST Hikari forks it came with originally - crap!
Similar Products Used:Haro BMX's
Bike Setup:Haro ics 3.0 7005 Alu butted frame / Manitou Black Forks / XTR Goupset with XT front chainset / LX Hubs /
Bottom Line:This bike is popular, respected, good looking, durable, unique, fast & smooth - Nice one Haro. Although, they could of chosen a better groupset and forks, then released the bike onto the market at a higher price bracket(ie: £600-£800)...

Submitted by Jason Smith a Cross Country Rider from Queensbury, NY, US
Date Reviewed: July 8, 2002
Favorite Trail:the one I make
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:The Inside Edge
Strengths:Light, durable, good components and it doesnt start breaking down after a couple of years. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. Good bike.
Weaknesses:Lower end front shocks.(I have an older model with RST's)
Similar Products Used:GT
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:Great bike for the money. I ride it hard everyday and tune it up once a year in the spring and it performs to my needs. Great starter bike but not too shabby if you want a bike to race. Has the option for rear disc brakes. My advice-Go ride one and see for yourself.
