Date Reviewed: April 30, 2001
Favorite Trail:anyone that lets me go fast and push the limits
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $900.00
Strengths:So far have not had any problems with this bike. I ride long and hard and a cheap bike would not have stood up to my abuse.
Weaknesses:Need to constantly re-adjust the front derailer. (AND didn't come with a dictionary)
Similar Products Used:Giant and Specialized (Rock Hopper)
Bottom Line:Great bike for the $$$$$. Would recommend to any beginner with room to grow on.

Submitted by Moshe Seidman a Weekend Warrior from Jerusalem, Israel
Date Reviewed: December 29, 1999
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
V-bar frame, components
Weaknesses:
see below
Similar Products Used:
Trek 7000
Bottom Line:I splurged a bit when I bought this bike - most of my saddle time is spent on daily commuting. So far I've taken it on one long trip (three days riding - including road sections) and some day rides. The main and real problem I encountered was the rear wheel going out of true. My dealer tried to help out - but apparently he's not a wheel expert. A spoke broke on three occasions. I recently found someone who set things straight - I hope it lasts. When the Haro is running right it's a real pleasure to ride.
