Very tough and light, cheap, dependable and a good climber
Weaknesses:
I immediately removed the seatpost clamp and put a quick release one on (What were they thinking?) also removed the cheap suspension seatpost and added a Rockshox post. Other than that, on the trail this frame is great.

Bottom Line:
I bought this on ebay as only a frame with the Rockshox XC fork with seatpost and seat. This has been my main ride for the last year and I've been riding mainly offroad with it on some rugged rocky trails. It handles well, climbs well, and drops in well. It's a very stable frame. I was just going to buy this for the fork and sell the frame, however when I had some trouble with getting parts for my Proflex Attack from K2 (They are pretty incompetant.) I built up the frame and have been riding it ever since. Like all aluminum hardtails it can be a little harsh in the saddle. A good quality (Nothing from Nashbar) suspension seatpost will turn this bike into a dream.

Strengths:
After only 5 rides it appears to climb and handle well. A light frame for the money. I bought it new on eBay for $125.
Weaknesses:
I chose not to use disc brakes and it was very difficult to get the brake studs from Haro.
Bike Setup:
XT/LX kit from a Specialized Stumpjumper. Manitou SX fork. Ritchey pedals.
Bottom Line:
I wanted to build a hard tail as my second bike (I ride an XTR/Race Face Santa Cruz Superlight). It was inexpensive, rides great, fairly light and climbs well. I replaced the seat post with a Bontrager Racelite and removed the lame Specialized tires and replaced them with Ritchey Speedmax (Alpha and Omega).

Light, awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome. I don't even have great components and the bike still rides great! Looks great too! Good for all levels of rider.
Weaknesses:
Only that I didn't buy it earlier. Tends to get scratched pretty east but really, who cares!!!

Sweetest bike I've ever riden. Taken it on city streets, easy trails, and one suicide run-my pants are garbage but the bike is still perfect!!! I love it! Even with the heavier fork the bike still feels like a feather!! It's pretty stiff so it can be hard on the back on long rides, but it's perfect for ripping up the trails!

Update time......had this bike for a few months and have tried to put it through its paces. Took it to Soquel Demonstration in santa Cruz ...and I augered something fierce...total superman over the bars...Bike took it and begged for more finally stuffed some elastomer in the Judy's and they are better now. Still need the heavy springs. this bike is an animal....
Weaknesses:
Where the HECK is the seatpost quick release...minor oversite when I purchased the bike and has become a pain when coming off the climb to the DH...(this is one of the contributing factors to my involuntary dismount) Probably looking to upgrade to a stiffer fork (Psylo SL or XC)
Bike Setup:
Stock....well except for the adjusted forks and the new Azonic riser bar and Specialized DH stem. and a New Giro hammerhead to replace the helmet that was destroyed in santa cruz
Bottom Line:
Took the spill at demonstration, and then got right back up and finished the ride with no major malfunction (to the bike, I was jacked up) ince then I have a new baby son and was recovering, but was back out on the trails this last weekend, this bike is great and continues to impress me, The fork will always be an issue because I am just a big guy (6'4" & 240 lbs)

lots to list....had a Rockhopper comp (stolen) and I love the fact that I got this bike on clearance. great brakes...I have ridden it on both the road and trails now and this bike flat out rocks. Sweet suspension (although Rock shox is going to charge me for stiffer coils for my judy XC's) but this is my first suspension seatpost...Zoom..this thing is awesome I am not sure how I ever rode without one. The brakes are strong, I got Avid pulls to go along with the Dai Tech disc and the Deore drivetrain is excellent...smoother shifting than I had on my Rockhopper (same drivetrain) added bonus..Deore Hollowtech cranks and I added in a Kryptonite New York Chain (just in case) so all in all it is a great bike especially for the price I paid.
Weaknesses:
the saddle...WTB racing saddle with kevlar sides alot stiffer than the Rockhopper's, which was a source of a lot of bad review on this site, but never gave me much trouble at all. I have to get used to it. We'll see what we end up with... I also want to upgrade the h-bar...would like to Get a bontrager Crowbar....or maybe a Titec Hell-Bent...depends I guess....plus I had switched out the pedals...I don't ride clipless, and I dont use the toe clips either...I feel more secure knowing my foot will come off whenever I need it to.

Bottom Line:
dude, any bike with Judy XC's dual discs and suspension seatpost, hollowtech cranks..for less than $700 is a steal...I'm lucky I picked it up at the end of the year. This bike is an over-all animal, will climb anything (at least anything I can climb) and it flat out flies. Copeland's had the MSRP set at $999.99 so I feel like I got a great deal. Now about dealing with Rock Shox Inc. ....we'll see. Great bike for the intermediate to advanced rider unless you really need to spend more money or need dual suspension.

Solid frame, turns well at speed, handles dropins great. Disc caliper recall!! Not on the Haro bike, already done.
Weaknesses:
None for cross county use other than possible upgrades in drive train. DH use needs wheels, drivetrain & tires.

Bottom Line:
Bike is probibaly great for cross country (as per design & setup). I weigh 49lbs wet so a full suspenssion bike wouldent do me much good. I ran the Komakazi at Mamouth Mountain, Wasted the wheels on one great crash, (but hey this aint no dh bike either). Replaced the rims, Spokes & set wheels straight with Sun setup, AWSOME!! Ran the setup at Donner ski ranch, totally rocks, way more rideable for dh use.
