Date Reviewed: June 14, 2001
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $350.00
Purchased At:Scott's Cyclery
Strengths:The frame is awesome as far as your weight is on the rear of the bike. Very durable. The trigger shifters really help out on the trails. The brakes are great for the beginner rider.
Weaknesses:Tires could go for an up grade. The shocks are a little sponge for someone that is 6'1" 230.
Similar Products Used:none for the price.
Bike Setup:The components of the bike is how they should be for the price. You can't beat it. The bike seems to be geared for taller riders.
Bottom Line:Over all, the setup is pretty good for a first time rider. It gives you a great feel as far as a mtb should handle on some decent trails
