Submitted by Gator70 a Weekend Warrior from Twentynine Palms, Ca
Date Reviewed: June 5, 2009
Favorite Trail:Bootleg Canyon
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $1300.00
Strengths:Mechanically simple. Surprisingly nice components. This is one good looking bike, the catalog pictures do it no justice.
The steel/chrome molly frame soaks up the vibrations.
Weaknesses:None, it is what it is, which is why I bought it.
Similar Products Used:None. Currently also ride an 07 Specialized Enduro with the works. Opposite end of the spectrum so to speak.
Bike Setup:Stock from Haro
Bottom Line:This bike is freaking fun. I forgot how fun a rigid frame could be. The 650B tires are good to go, I think they are worth the hype. Worth it for those who want a no B.S, mechanically sound rigid frame bike. You will have to dust off some of those old skills because there is no front fork or rear shock to rescue you from stupidity. Nothing but pure steel sweetness!
