$500.00 | | Purchased At: | On line | | Strengths: | Great product for the price... Good frame alows U to upgrade the parts and still have room for emrovements later. | | Weaknesses: | Forks are waaaayyyyy to soft but then again I tend to be agresive. Disk stop well but have a hard lever even with upgraded cable assem. | | Similar Products Used: | Hard tails x bmx rider | | Bike Setup: | Xtr running gear/ Avid Disk/ 05 Shamano Lx cranks/ Rock shock sid rear/Xt shifters... | | Bottom Line: | Great value for the $ for an enty level bike leave s lots a room for upgrades and still be under $1000 | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$690.00 | | Purchased At: | Mongoose dealer | | Strengths: | Solid frame, looks, fork is suprisingly good, nothing has broken. | | Weaknesses: | brakes are kinda bad but there OK i supose... | | Similar Products Used: | Believe me you dont want to know the heaps of scrap metal people call bikes that I have used... | | Bike Setup: | As purchased | | Bottom Line: | This bike is amazingly good for the cost! I just had the biggest stack tday and not even a scratch has been caused to it (axed self on 1.7m drop off). It looks really good as well. If you want a fairly cheap bike that can go almost anywhere then this is the bike to get. Its not built for downhilling but it is a very good bike for the price. For the last 3 months I have been 'bushbashin', doing huge jumps, drop offs etc and I have had no problems. It could do with some better brakes but these will do for the time being. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
