    Favorite Trail:forest trails
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $160.00
    Purchased At:Kiev bikeshop
    Strengths:-Cool look :)
    -smooth shifting
    -stiff cranks and rings
Weaknesses:The majorest noticed - after ayear without service, sometimes after the rain or in wet weather - they use to squeak. This probably regards to the aluminium base of them. Alu always play.
Scratches are more visible on the Black painted cranks.
    Similar Products Used:Suntour XCC,XCM,Shimano Deore,XT.
    Bike Setup:Giant XtC
Bottom Line:I use this crankset on my XC race bike. But, sometimes I transform it into somekind of a trail machine with 120mm fork and all the stuff. Crank performed as a reliable one with smooth, very fast and reliable shifting.Intergrated bracket and hollowtech makes it light. I assume thisone is more an XC that an AM crankset. Everyone knows that it is an LX crank painted black. Still assume that it's a nice thing to buy.

    Favorite Trail:Mont Ste-Anne
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $150.00
    Purchased At:eBay
Strengths:Light, strong, reliable until you do "all mountain"
Weaknesses:3 Rings model doesn't have the steel pedal bushing, bad for an "all mountain" crankset! Shame on shimano for that one, this crankset is a rip-off the LX crankset, made for light and smooth riders.
Also, the big 44t Ring is weak and won't handle any kind of abuse. It will break if you try to re-align the teeth (must be magnesium)
Similar Products Used:2 Rings Hone (FC-M601-2)
    ISIS cranksets
Bike Setup:Fetish Cycles Discipline frame, XT/LX Mech, 120mm Rock Shock
Bottom Line:The pedal bushing didn't hold the road, 2 days and all the threads ripped off, and I know how to install a pedal. Get the 2 rings model and get a separate 44t ring if you really need it.
If you do hard stuff, get Saint or another brand.

    Favorite Trail:Gross Head/Bluegum Swamp
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $140.00
    Purchased At:ebay
Strengths:Strong, stiff, smooth, slick shifting and stealth look.
    Weaknesses:None so far.
Similar Products Used:The original suntour cranks that came on the bike, which were shot in 8 months.
Bike Setup:Norco hardtail,RS Revelations, FC M600 Hone cranks, WTB sx24 Wheelset, WTB Velociraptors, Shimano lx drivetrain.
Bottom Line:I use these cranks for trail riding and occaisional xc racing and they have not dissapointed me in any way, they are still as good as new after six months of hard riding where my suntours were on their last legs by now. They just get the job done without you being aware of them, I have come home to clean the bike down after some good hard rides and discovered rock stikes on them which didn't faze them at the time, even the finish is very durable and they look nice and stealthy, complementing all the other black anno finished parts on the bike perfectly.

    Strengths:Cheap...
    Weaknesses:Crank arm unscrews itself
    Similar Products Used:Shimano Bontarge
    Bike Setup:Brothers Wahoo
Bottom Line:I was riding some jumps and I know this isn't built for thrasihing but It's for a MTB. So I was riding some jumps on my Bro's bike and on a landing not a crash I notice theses no pedal, then I notice theres no crank arm Mabey its my fault for not tightening them but a crank shouldn't pull itself off.

Strengths:Great Crankset. I haven't found any problems yet. Easy install myself with basic bike tool set.
    Weaknesses:None so far
Similar Products Used:Replaced Race face crankset after I broke it.
Bike Setup:Giant Reign 3, stock set up
Bottom Line:I stripped out the treads for the pedals on one side and had to replace in a hurry on a limited budget. Local shop told me about this product and I stalled that night. I've had no problems with it so far.
