Submitted by Juan Lopez a Racer from Oak Grove, KY
    Date Reviewed: March 1, 2006
Favorite Trail:Canal Loop, KY / Corujo, Vigo Spain
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $5500.00
Purchased At:Bikes and Moore, Hopkinsville, KY
Strengths:This Frame comes with a lifetime warranty. The Bike is extremely light @ 23.8 pounds. There is nothing you can really do to this bike to make it any more perfect. I love everything about this bike. The people at Bikes and Moore were excellent when it came down to tuning it for me.
Weaknesses:The selection of tires could be better. On my first 10 minutes of riding I crashed do to over inflation of the tires. You can save at least another pound by mounting a good set of tubeless tires, the rims will do both. I also found the saddle to be too stiff and will replacec it with a selle Italia like on my other rides.
Similar Products Used:I also ride a Kona Kula, full XTR and Rock Shox SID forks and a Specialized ALLEZ Road bike.
    Bike Setup:Stock from Trek
Bottom Line:This bike is a perfect racer straight out of the box. If you save up enough ($5500) you will enjoy a superb ride and will not have to replace anything on it to make it better. PERFECT!!!
