Weekend Warrior Summary: Very nice singletrack, but the bike trails seem like they have been neglected a bit since they were built. I just moved here from Florida and our "official" trails are marked and maintained quite well. I don't know if it's an Alaska thing or perhaps matsu borough doesn't have enough funding for the parks. A significant trail map and markers would be quite helpful.
By all means don't let my summary stop you. Go ride the trail, get lost and have a great time. After all, finding your way out is the best way to get to know a trail (its not hard at all to figure it out). Recommended Route: Easiest entrance to singletrack is from the Kepler Bradley park entrance off the Glenn Highway, about a 1/2 mile from the Parks Highway. You can enter from Crevasse Moraine on Palmer-Wasilla highway. but I only suggest this if you intend to warm yourself up with 3-5 miles of cross country climbing and descending. Other recommended trails in the same area: still looking
