Has a lot of potential. Needs to be ridden more. A little loose. Good climbs with fast downhills. Very diverse trail.

Summary:
Like many have mentioned before, this trail is great if you love smooth, winding, fast single track riding. Make sure you don't forget to ride the whole trail and not just the inner circle. The downhill sections are fast and loads of fun and the uphill sections really arent that bad, but will get your heart pumping.

The trail crew has done an amazing job on this trail. Infact, on two seperate occasions I have ridden up on big groups of people cleaning the trail and maintaining it. It's good to know that there are people who care about keeping this trail in excellent shape. Possibly the funnest trail in NWA for me.

Recommended Route:
Start and trail head and ride both dog legs.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lake Leatherwood
Lake Weddington

Summary:
Without a doubt, one the the best trails in NW Arkansas. We had a little bit of a hard time finding it for our first trip but we just keep heading back.

Pros: Smooth, great climbs/descents, runs by the lake (jump in but look out for underwater trees!)

Cons: Not technical at all, climbs may be too difficult for some, alot of crap on the trail (literally, trail is shared with equestrians)

Recommended Route:
Left at the first fork, keep in mind you'll be in for a tough climb either way

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Leatherwood

Summary:
Not a very technical trail, but if you like going fast on long twisty downhills this place is a blast. I guess that I should mention that you have to climb some long twisty uphills to get to the downhill parts. Hey it can't all be fun and easy. That being said, this is a great place for hill training. Although it is not very technical one must be in good shape to ride these trails as the climbs can be very demanding, so if you are a true beginner you may want to take that into consideration. Anyways this is my favorite trail in Northwest Arkansas.

Summary:
This is a multi-use trail built by volunteers. Hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use is allowed. To date, the mountain bike riders seem to give these great trails the most use. That's OK because we put alot of work into the construction of the trails. It is a 17 mile system with stacked loops. The biggest loop (Little Clifty Creek Loop)is 9 miles or so and spans the namesake creek valley to the east of Piney Ridge rd. Two other loops (Dutton hollow and Bashores Ridge) make up the other 8 miles or so on the west side of Piney Ridge rd. These trails are 100% curvy, handcarved singletrack. They are not quite two years old, so they may be loose here and there, but they are sweet and getting better with time and use. Parking for mtn bikers will be found off of Townsends Ridge rd. on the south side of the big loop. Call the Hobbs State Park office for more info. 479-789-2380

Recommended Route:
Up the hill and over the dale...

Lake Leatherwood!!!

On the way out there you will pass Highway 303. After that you will see a nice parking lot on the right it is the first street on the right after that.
