Summary:
This trail system is pretty rocky and techical. Some of it ( about 10%) is expert. The rocks can be really slippery after a morning dew or rain and can be really sketchy. 90% of the riding is nice singletrack.
There are a few walkabike climbs and descents. The trails themselves are pretty decent, alot of washout on the hills so be careful.
Overall..pretty decent. I'd go back. I couldnt really find any decent trail maps. I tried the bikerag.com site and got a decent map but that map was difficult to read when your out riding, basically there are way more trails than is marked on that map. Alot of the trails are way overgrown and could use some love. Getoutnride!

Recommended Route:
I came in the Cornwall rd entrance off of George Wash trnpk. You'll go about a mile and see the trail on both sides of the road ( unmarked)Park there and jump on. The east side of the road gets access to the trail system, the west side trail goes down to 69 and is downhill.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
If your around the Danbury area..there is some singletrack systems in Huntington State park at Bethel. It is not as technical though and there is less of it.

Summary:
There are trails here for every level of rider. I would describe the majority of trails as tight single track with fast downhill slopes and steep uphill climbs. The average loop in about 5 miles but can go up to 9miles if combined. The terrain is hardpacked covered with rock kickers; so bring a extra tube. The kitchen lives up to it name. I recommend keeping one foot clipped out at all times. Definently worth the travel

Recommended Route:
Cornwall road is my favorite place to enter. There are 3 areas; the first is 2 miles up Cornwall on the right hand side which will spit you out over route 69(best if you like downhill), just cross 69 and follow to scovel road where the graveyard is. The second area to enter is just after cresting the top of cornwall road on the left side. This will connect you to all the stone road trails and to route 4 where you can cross into Nassahegan state forest. The last entrance is at the end of Cornwall on the dirt road. Follow the dirtroad at the end go right and it will take you to the graveyard; go left and you will hit the kitchen backwards. Thats it enjoy.

Recommended Route:
Come back to the same place you started. Park on Rt 69 near scarey cemetary and take off shoot of Rte., and go right up the jagged rocks on right when offshoot goes Left. Pass the top to neighborhood road take first R and look for entry on L; about 300' down. Hang on Brother Man!!! or Sista Mama Lover!!!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Bluff Point in New London/Groton.
