Weekend Warrior Summary: Not bad... although I dont think I saw everything there was to offer. But I was pleasantly surprised this trail was still maintained (lots of log jumps still and downhills cleared) considering the last review was '03. Im going back soon. Would be cool if there were some log rides setup with all those fallen trees and logs laying around. Recommended Route: Parked by powerstation. Headed west (left at fork on prairie path)... I assume these are the trails being talked about here.

, from Naperville Summary: This backwoods trail is actually part of the Warrenville glen forest preserve. The forest preserve district is now cutting a north/south prarie path trail so people can get to downtown Naperville via a path. There are are spurs all over the place here and some pretty nice very short downhills and up hills. I haven't found a good loop yet but after a couple of visits I am sure I will find one. There were some horse tracks but not too many and several hikers walking the paths. This place has potential as long as us bikers use our heads when building stuff on the trails. A couple of places for creek crossings are around here also Recommended Route: I would start off of Batavia road in warrenville. cross the bridge and find some trails.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Reviewed by: Jeff Summary: This trail is great for messing around on a nice day. Of course it isnt anything like Colorado or Whislter, but what can you really expect for the middles of midwestern suburbs? Its not very long and doesnt drain well but is a great place to ride if you dont feel like making the voyage to Palos. Recommended Route: Prairie path to trailhead on left side Other recommended trails in the same area: Palos

, from Wheaton Summary: I will admit this is not worth driving more than 10 miles to ride. But they are only describing not even half of the trail, this will take you all the way out to Ogden Ave. I start out in Wheaton on the path, a few climbs at Blackwell, drop into the single-track along the river, follow that out to Ogden and back for some more climbs at Blackwell. All said and done about 25 miles. Recommended Route: Start off at Ogden on the west side of the river head South, trail is on and off from road to single-track, easier to find your way heading South. Other recommended trails in the same area: Palos
