Ridden Trail:
Once a week

Summary:
Pilcher park has trails that can keep you going for close to two hours on a variety of terrain. There is a paved trail through the length of the park for a leisure ride surrounded by some nice single track with log jumping, stream crossings and terrain to get your heart pumping. There is lots of poison ivy in the area so stay on the trails, they are clear. There is a lot of ground to cover if you know the park and a side trip to the site of an Old French fort. This park is under utilized and under appreciated. If you like Palos, I highly recommend you check this out. e-mail me for more info.

Summary:
Small but good for a quick ride after work or to beat the crowd at palos over the weekend. Never very crowded. More challenging towards the northwest end. Look out for the random hood rat toking up in the woods.

Recommended Route:
Come in on rt 30 and park by the creek on the right. Your car is safer than the east end. Don't park by the flowing well!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Palos
