Red Hill State Park

Mostly flat, and grassy. Haven't ridden it since having a flat tire there last fall. A nice easy ride through the woods. Watch out for the horses, even though I haven't seen any there.

Summary:
Mostly grassy doubletrack, with a little singletrack thrown in. Not very technical, except the section behind the dam. It has a long downhill, creek crossing and steep climb up the other side bluff. The scenery isn't too bad, but the horses have put major divots in the singletrack. The campground is nice, however, and has hot showers. No swimming in the lake, though.

Recommended Route:
Use the Rte. 250 entrance and park in the first parking area on the right hand side. Go counterclockwise starting at the parking area.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Wabash river ATV trails near St. Francisville and Mt. Carmel. Oops--can't forget Newton lake. Much smoother and longer.
