Ridden Trail: Ridden Once
| |
Reviewed by: Ken
, from Edina, MO Summary: Rails-to-trails path is an easy ride for a mountian bike. Grandma could ride it. I rode it on a recumbent with touring tires (not recommended) and made it with no struggles. Worth doing if you are in the area, don't make a special trip just for this trail though. SERIOUS potholes, the worst maintained rails-to-trails I have ridden on.

, from Osage Summary: Lots of big rocks hidden in the grass on the trail. Rode my road bike and got a flat. Warning, watch out for poison parsnip!! Leans into the trail from both sides. I got it on my left leg and foot. Don't ride road bike. Watch out for big holes too.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Reviewed by: Randy Simmons
, from Burlington, Ia. Summary: This is a mostly flat, smooth (former rail line) you can ride side by side for most of it. Maintenance is not perfect and potholes exist so best to ride with a shocked fork bike. Sunscreen may be necessary for the light of skin, as shade is sparse.
