Mossy Point Trails

Well you're in it now. Keep on that trail, you can take the straight ahead or take the first right, If you go straight with the creek on your left side it comes to a rock outcropping then it turns right and then goes over a fairly large log, then it turns left and goes up the hill then it switchbacks to the right and then up some more, At the top there's a big tree and the trail splits, if you go right you better hold on because this section is quite technical. This section is called the Mossy Point Flow it has some off camber semi rooty sections with some humps, jumps, drops, and a pallet banked corner over a drainage culvert. It’s Iowa’s version of a downhill track. Go and ride this trail you will be surprised at the speed you can get going through the triple set then shooting into the bermed corner that sends you into the step up.
The other section of the trail system is more of a double track trail fairly easy some beginner trails too it can be accessed from the bike path easily. The entrance for those trails is just a little bit further past the bridge. Keep on the bike path headed north west for about 200 or so feet, on your left you will see a sometimes mowed trail that is wide enough to drive a truck through, turn left into there. You will see that there are many different types of trails in this part, some that are mowed every so often and are really flat to some that are dirt and fairly large and somewhat hilly.
So to end this, I will add that these trails have been developed because of the need for more trails in the Quad City Area. And trails that are more accessible to everyone and also that these trails are an ongoing process that could only get better with a little time and helping hand from other riders.

Park at Devils Glen park in Bettendorf, get on the Duck Creek Bike Path heading west, go under Devils Glen Rd. the path will curve along the creek until it crosses the first bridge. As soon as you cross the bridge and I mean as soon as you cross it! Turn to your immediate LEFT and go down the hill towards the creek, The technical section begins here.
Summary: This trail is sweet. I just found out about it today and it is absolutely awesome. It's good for most level of riders, and most stuff that's too technical for you, you can just ride around. It is a little tricky to find, but just keep lookin.
Recommended Route: The Downhill Course

Summary: Good set of trails with a lot of potential. Hopefully we will get some more ramps, trails, and stunts built up to make these trails even more rockin'.
Recommended Route: Park at Devil's Glen Park, go down to the bike path and keep going straight/right. About a half-mile later, there will be a bridge and then to the left a 5-10 ft wide grassy meadow on your left. The main trails will be on your left
Other recommended trails in the same area: Sugarbottom, Sylvan Island.
