Ridden Trail: Once a week

Racer Summary: Anyone in the Emporia area should be sure to try these trails at least once. The first half of this trail is twisty single-track and a fast section of double-track. It is primarily flat until you break out of the trees and head into the field loop. You won't be preoccupied with the lack of trees as you scale one rocky climb after another. Once you enter back into the trees you are a few short climbs away from being done. The trail is only about 3.5 miles long, but a couple of laps will make you feel as though you've done much more. Other recommended trails in the same area: There is also a shorter loop located at the Camp Alexander Pioneer trails just south on Old Old Highway 50.
