Weekend Warrior Summary: Me and my friends go there...all the trails are fun, red is more technical and is my favorite. green is fun to ride an a lil technical but not much, yellow for the families with kids. It is a fun place to go in the summer to camp or go biking, hiking, hunting, swimming, fishing, everything. By the way I live about 10 minutes from it. Recommended Route: Any of them, depends on the experience of the rider Other recommended trails in the same area: None

Cross Country Rider Summary: I live and ride in southeast Michigan (Detroit area), but decided to go for a bit of a drive and try something new. The trails were a bit flat, but it really is remarkable what a fun to ride trail setup that they've managed in the heart of flat Michigan farmland. If you come from anywhere with hills, you'll immediately notice the lack thereof here, with the Cardiac Climb and subsequent CPR being indicative of average hills on some of the SE Michigan trails. However, the trails do offer some scenic views, and although these aren't super hard trails, they're pretty fun to ride. Recommended Route: Red is the "difficult" route, and Green is pretty fun, with a place that you're literally two feet from the one lake (that looks really inviting if it's hot out...). Pass on yellow unless you want a warmup or just to check out the sights.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Love the different options from the Red, Green and Yellow trails. Red offers the biggest challange, go early to beat the crowd. The coure needs rain lots more sand then I like. The flats after the CPR were a nice break at least for me. The downhill after the Penninsula looked like some trail work had been done leaving loose mounds of dirt which up end me. After 16 miles I was feeling it but it's the kind of course the needs repeating. Recommended Route: Go Red for the best work out, stay focused

Weekend Warrior Summary: First off, you've got to pay in order to play - MI State Parks are $8.00 per use to get in for out of staters or $29.00 for season pass. Worth the money, though.
The meat: First Trail ridden in MI so I can't comment on other trails in state; however, if you're living in Inidia, Ohio or one of the other states that is devoid of hills, check this place out! These trails are extremely well marked and maps are located periodically throughout the trail system telling you where you are. The trail is divided up into sections and numbered accordingly.
Experienced riders may find the trails a little lacking - especially with New England riders. The tallest log-ride was only about 18" high and the single 'Gravity Cavity' was only 4 feet deep (with a chicken-detour). :-/
4 chilies because of a lot of flat-ness and only a few sections with steep climbs or technical stuff. Recommended Route: Red is advanced (but fast).
Green is intermediate (but very fast).
Yellow is mellow.
Blue - didn't ride or see - I think it's a walking trail.
Route: Red, Green, Red. Other recommended trails in the same area: The Winona Lake Trail, Warsaw, IN - very nice considering flat lands around large stream. 8-3/4 miles of sweetness - not very technical except for one spot - double-diamond.
Frankie Park - Fort Wayne, IN.
