Enter Cape Girardeau from the north side of town by exiting I-55 on exit 99 marked Cape Girardeau/Jackson. After exiting, head south, toward Cape Girardeau. You will be on Hwy 61 (N Kingshighway). Continue past the county parks on both sides of the road until you come to your first stoplight at the intersection of N Kingshighway and Lexington. You are going to make a left onto Lexington (headed east, towards the River). Continue on Lexington through 3 4-way stops. You will cross the main roads of Perryville and Cape Rock. At the 4th 4-way stop, you will be at Old Sprigg St. You will be facing east (toward the river). The trail is located at the NE corner of th intersection (across Old Sprigg and to the left). Make a left onto Old Sprigg and then make your immediate right onto a gravel driveway.
