Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Gladstone, Mo Summary: I'm guessing that this trail has seen a few changes from the last review. The area looks like it is maintained very well and one of the benefits....this trail dries extremely fast. Smithville received 5 inches of rain a couple days before we were there, and there wasn't much trace of it. As for the trail...it's fun and entertaining, but it's geared for beginners. Also, I don't believe it can be classified as a singletrack anymore. The trail has been developed and provides a lot of areas where you can ride side by side if you wanted to. The biggest loop that we could find is approximately 2.5 miles long. Terrain is extremely diverse for the trail's size with a lot of crushed limestone, cut grass and mulch. As the 'Description' states, there are a lot of excellent climbs that will keep you coming back. Although its not difficult, the terrain variation helps keep your interest and makes this a trail suitable for any rider. In a nutshell, this is a great trail to ride when other places are drying out, you want to put on some miles and don't care about making quick loops or you're out with the family and want to keep everyone happy (even the little ones). You need to take the trail for what it's worth. 4 for beginners, 2 for advanced.

, from Liberty, MO, USA Summary: I liked this trail for the variety it provides and I like the location. I would recommend that you bring your tools to fix a flat, just in case, because there are some areas with thorns and steep decents with small stumps riddled throughout. That was a little tricky to navigate through due to the amount of stumps. Otherwise I really liked this small trail. Recommended Route: We took the first trail on your right, but there are other options. Other recommended trails in the same area: Minor Park
