Ridden Trail: Once a week

Reviewed by: Kelli
, from Lincoln Summary: Last summer I rode MoPac East every day for a 25-mile round trip, and my friend and I were never bored. The trail is kept up well and definitely improved our endurance. We even rode it at night ... reflected light from the full moon lit up the limestone trail so that we didn't even need our bike lights. I love MoPac East, and plan to ride it extensively this summer. You do cross several roads some are fresh gravel so young riders should be cautious. Definitely wear a helmet, as you would under any other conditions.

, from Omaha, NE Summary: This trail deserves 1 star. Period. You are supposed to rate these trails fairly compared to other great mountain bike trails. 5 stars should be the best mountain bike trail ever invented! That considered, how can anyone give this trail 5 stars? Does that mean that it compares equally with Moab, Tsali, and Berryman? Or have you people just never ridden any real mountain bike trails? It just doesn't make any sense... Recommended Route: Straight crushed limestone..

, from Lincoln, Nebraska Summary: I think the person who said that gravel roads have more to offer is crazy! I have used this travel for years and I am still not bored with it - It is 100% Nebraska, and that's the way I like it! Recommended Route: Best way to enjoy the fresh air

Ridden Trail: Please Select

, from Lincoln Summary: This train is great for putting on miles and opening up the bike for speed. Yes, this trail may be considered to be boring by some but you must consider it is a old RR track. I ride this trail at least once a week to keep my endurance up and stop and see the dudes at the Walton Trail Co (great service). If you want to ride this trail and are tired of the flat gravel road, take the horse trails....but watch out for the stickers and a few hourse riders occasionally. Other recommended trails in the same area: Platte River, and Branched Oak
