Very flat, and lots of turns, and really rough from horses

From Lincoln, get on Highway 77 and head South. One trial head can be reached by turning east onto Old Cheney. There's a gravel road right after you turn. Take it north, and you'll see it.

Summary:
Flat and very curvy trail that is challenging when ridden fast with a group of strong riders. A few small jumps and small downed trees may be found, but it is not overly technical.

Recommended Route:
I have ridden this trail now around 5-10 times. I usually ride the trail with the MWC crew on Tuesday nights. Like others have said before me, this trail is very fun if ridden at a smoking pace. I ride a 34x16 29er and one must spin hard to keep up with the lead group. The park is flat, but there are turns both tight and swooping everywhere. You have to carry alot of momentum and watch your lines when traveling at speed or you will soon be off your bike.

Please note that my ratings are purely based upon riding this trail balls to the wall with a big group seasoned riders. If you ride this trail at a slow pace then you will probably not agree with my ratings.

Summary:
The only reason I am riding this trail onece a month is because it is the ONLY trail in lincoln area that is worth taking my bike too. Today my friend and I went about 3-4 miles north on the trail in very little time I was planning on going out tonight and wanted to only ride a little, I also put in about 2 miles during lunch. We ended up missing our van dorn street (7 miles) turn because none of the trails are marked with where you are. This being my first time riding the entire (a lot) trail I didnt know where to go. It is really really easy. We went 16-18 miles in a n hour and a half. Pedal as hard as you can and don't take the hiking trails they are not as fun as the bike ones. Some of the stuff isnt cut. Highlights of the 17+ mile trip was one log ride, 2 bridges 15-20 10foot downhills and lastly the gays having sex in the woods, no jk. But it is really easy

Recommended Route:
DOn't get lost

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Branched oak, except it sucks too because sand, Go to platte or lewis and clark.

Summary:
I would agree with Matt (below). Yeah, wilderness aint that technical and you've got to try real hard to kill yourself, but if you can peddle through all the tight turns, you're gonna have fun. Lots of trails and if you ride out there from downtown its pretty easy to log on 20+ miles without taking the same trail twice. Ratings are all based on speed. If you ain't pushing it out there it ain't gonna be that fun.

Summary:
I've been riding this trail for 15 yrs. and it never stops challenging me to see just how fast I can take the next corner. Anyone who dogs on it just can't ride to the limit of their tires traction. Great place to do 50+ mile off-road training. However like all DIRT trails it is not the place to go when its wet, but there is no place in Nebraska to go when its wet. Also this is a very good winter training trail, when you get 1-3 inches of snow and 20 degrees or less nothing could be funner than sliding and slamming through these corners. Two way traffic can be a problem, you just have to pay attention. Run the pervs down.

Summary:
I was thoroughly disappointed with my first trip out to this trail. Clearly, people have ruined parts of this otherwise nice trail. Several areas have been trashed by people biking when it was too wet. Now there are 4 inch deep ruts that make it dangerous and frustrating. I bailed once when I took a turn into one of these areas. Except for these areas the course is nice and recommended for beginners.

Recommended Route:
