I was recently on the phone w/ The Amherst Conservation Commissions' office..... Good news: On the The parcel known as the Hazeltine Lot, NEW TRAILS ARE OPEN, and we've been invited to come help "ride it in" !!! They also mentioned this area could still use a lot of work and any T.M would be appreciated. (Subltle hint, I think?-)

Summary:
Rode this trail for the first time the other day. Went in with no expectations. Because it's only three weeks into April, the trail was still covered with leaves and sticks, and there were a few flooded spots.

This trail was a great quick ride. The route we followed wasn't long, we followed the trail marked with the white rectangles. The trail was VERY well marked, thankfully as it was hard to follow otherwise, still covered in leaves.

It wasn't a very technical trial, but there were lots of small ups and downs and it certainly got my heart and legs working.

Recommended Route:
We followed the trail marked with the white rectangles - started at the top of the parking area to the right of the bulletin board.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
FOMBA, Mines Falls, Yudicky

Summary:
The trails were just worked on this past summer so there is still a good amount of soft soil and baby tree stumps. The more the trail is ridden the better it will become. So get going and ride it!

Recommended Route:
Same
