Smart's Brook
2 reviews
 5 of 5

There are alot of trails that interconnect in this area so a little exploring is in order because only a couple are marked. You will find just about everything out there from rocky and rooty technical to some really big climbs and everthing in between. One mile trail is really technical, Yellow Jacket is a fun downhill that follows smart't brook down through a ravine. Take a Sunday, explore the area, and at the end of the day you will be tired but happy you made the trip

Summary:
The trails here are great for cross-country and if you spot for a lift ticket you can run the face of Snow Mountain slope for a very fast and technical downhill.

Recommended Route:
Take the lift at Snow Mountain and you will be rewarded with access to almost every trail in ski area. ( and lots of fun downhills)

Summary:
Rocks, roots, bridges, stream crossing, steep drops, technical downhills, technical uphills, technical flats, fire roads, single track, and lots of climbing.

Recommended Route:
From the parking area take the highway back down the road a little way to chikenboro road. This a dirt road that turns into a old forest road which will hook up with a forest service road. several trails branch of this or follow to the end and cross sandwich notch road and follow the trail down the powerline. many options from there.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
There is a lot of riding in the Plymouth, Campton, and Waterville Valley area. The trouble is very little is marked. gyroscope in Plymouth is pretty cool though.
