Ridden Trail: Once a week

Cross Country Rider Summary: Over this past summer I rode this trail all the time. It gets more fun the more you ride it. Yeah there's lots of bugs cuz it's near the river, and yeah it's near the dump so you may catch a stray whif once in a while (I never did...), but this trail can be a BLAST. If you ride it the right way, with speed, it's the most fun on the seacoast...
It isn't the most tech trail in the world, but the topography is great. Recommended Route: The main trail, I forget which color, runs along the isinglas most of the way with downhills and uphils and some technical rocks and roots. If you can't navigate the tech sections easily and can't keep your speed up this trail will suck. The key is never touching your breaks. If you drop into this trail with a lot of speed and take it as one straight run it is sooo much fun. There's a couple downhil sections, depending on which direction you're going in, that are a ton of fun if you hit them with a lot of speed. Steep down then up down up down with little tech obstacles the whole time and some turns. If you can't keep your speed up the trail is going to feel like it's uphill both ways. Ride it until it's fun and I guarantee you'll be a much better rider. Other recommended trails in the same area: Um Kingman I guess....

Cross Country Rider Summary: Great 40-90 minutes of singletrack. The singletrack keeps getting WIDER due to the clowns that are supposed maintaining this place with a Federal grant mind you. The new bridges are very nice. But widening it for the winter groomer is bull. Checked it twice in Jan/Feb 04 and there was no grooming to be seen. These trails are used mostly in the summer/fall season and the skiers and shoe'rs I know like to make their own tracks(NO GROOMERS!). Groomers are for the snowmobile crowd. Anyways the face rocks! Nice after work workout. Trails can be technical and fun. Try the new "condo" trail. Named after some really old leen-too's in the woods nearby. Bear right on the top of the blue trail at the stone pile marker to get to it. Be careful on your first run until you learn it. Recommended Route: Start at any of the trail heads from the first parking lot on the left coming in from Rt. 125. Other recommended trails in the same area: Blue Job Mountain, Kingman Farm, Mt."Aggy" in Maine.

, from wakefield,NH Summary: There r many trails u can ride hear i know i run there w/ the spaulding XC running team through the fall season as well as bike it! If u start off left watchout for the very short but extreamly steep technical hill down towards the river! These trails may not be incredibly long but there very fun and shady for the hot summer days also jumping in the falls is very refreshing after your ride! theres a nice piknick area when u finaly come out of the woods on the long single track. wouldnt recomend to beginers. if u ride here please repect the trails dont ruin it for everyone els. Recommended Route: for good single track just keep going left and keep going left untill u cant go any more! For a widder trail go right through the stone wall its fast and fun!

, from Rochester Summary: The trails have been widen this past summer and a 5K course with map and signage has been added too. I have been snowshoeing and x-country skiing on the groomed trails all winter. I hear they may be reconstructing the bridges on the trails this season. I recommend that novice x-c skiers stick to the front loops because of the drop in elavation and cornering down to the river. Snowshoers will find all the trails manageable at any level. Recommended Route: all 3
