Downhiller Summary: This could be a very good trail but it looks like a lot of work needs done on it. On a few of the climbs there are huge rain ruts making a climb or descent impossible. Many of the jumps that they had there need restructured as the soil has worn away from logs leaving just another obstacle. Recommended Route: There are two loops as you get to the parking area, one directly to your right and one to your left. The one on your left has some huge rain ruts in it that only a horse or a atv could get up it.The one on your right has a killer climb, which once made is rewarding but i wish there were more places to get some air. This trail connects with the Shawnee trail and goes the whole way to the north of the park to provide a thorough work out. Other recommended trails in the same area: Scioto trail

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is the best place to ride. I helped build one of the trails out there and plan on doing many more with the GSV group. I ride here at least 3 days a week and it never gets old. It just doesn't get any better than this. Good steep climbs, fast downhills, steep dips that rocket you back up, very good flow over all the trails. Some sections are very technical. This is a multi use trail so remember to watch out and be kind to the hikers, bikers and horsemen. Recommended Route: All the trails are so fun there's no certain place to start. Just park on Rocky Knob and hit the trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: NONE!

Cross Country Rider Summary: The guys at Great Seal Volunteers need to be commended for their efforts in building one of the best trail systems in ohio. They have opened up a lot of new trails and re-routed some older existing trails. This place has it all. Long climbs, tight technical singletrack, fast downhills!! It will challenge your skills! The scenery is great. The volunteers have a good working relationship with the park system and should set an example for others groups looking to create new riding areas. This trails system also drains very well so you can ride when other trails are not open. Recommended Route: call the guys at just north of daytona for trail routes and information. Other recommended trails in the same area: scioto trails, lake hope state park, paint creek state park.

Weekend Warrior Summary: the other day i rode the sugerloaf mountain trail. im not really sure if this is a mt. bike trail or not. the begining of it was not rideable, due to horses. mud to your knees. everytime i decided that it was a mt bike trail, i ran into knee deep horse tracks, until i started to climb. steep steep steep climb. i wish i had the lungs and legs to climb it all. something like a 500ft elevation change in a 1/4 mile. the downhill was pretty crazy on the other side too. i also tried another trail at this park but i ran into the same problem, horses. these trails would be great if not for the horses. Other recommended trails in the same area: lake hope, sells park in athens, vultures knob
