Cross Country Rider Summary: Decided to go check out the trails I cut my teeth on and was sorely disappointed. The area north of 74th is way overgrown and some of the woods have been bulldozed down. It's sad, this area used to be great but now it's not worth the trip. Recommended Route: Go over to Nudraper or Clearbay. Other recommended trails in the same area: Nudraper & Clearbay.

, from corvallis, or Summary: I first started "mountain biking" here. I thought it was ok until i moved and found a real trail. I wouldn't waste any time on that or any other trail in oklahoma again. There is definitely no climbing or descents unless 5 feet(and only five) elevation in 100 feet is a climb. If you haven't ridden any trails, this could be ok to see if the sport is interesting; however, I wouldn't really base any decicions on mountain biking unless a real trail was ridden. That means get a plane ticket or get in your car and drive a minimum to New Mexico or Colorado. If you like mountain biking, move away from oklahoma. Other recommended trails in the same area: move to a place with real mountians and trails. like the rockies, sierra nevadas, or the cascades in the NW to name a few.

, from Moore OK Summary: Fair riding for Oklahoma. No doubt that the idiots on motorcycles have pretty much ruined it for Mtn Bikers or anybody else who would just like to get away from the city and into nature. Constantly watching to make sure I didn't get run over by somebody's Kawasaki. Dirty, lot's of trash. They should close the North side of Draper to motor vehicles and boats, make it urban wilderness. Anyway, the trails are rutted out, some drop-ins and very short climbs. All in all flat and a little sandy in parts. Other recommended trails in the same area: 12 Miles of Hell in Lawton and Turkey in Tulsa are the best in OK right now.
