Reviewed by: Jeremy Scott Summary: this is an update of my previous review. i still really enjoy these trails. lots of fun singletrack. some somewhat difficult ascents on rocks but nothing too demanding or too long. more technical than some other trails in area. after more riding experience i will lower my rating of these trails but, i continue to ride them quite often. anybody who loves singletrack and wants an enjoyable ride which you can get a descent workout in would enjoy these trails. Recommended Route: all of it

, from Cleburne, TX Summary: Ditto for all of the above. Try to get a map at the ranger station if you are a first timer. I came late my first time and the ranger station was closed so I had to bang around for about fifteen minutes untill I figured it out. You just need to take the first right after the entrance and then look for a trail map under a little roof where you can park. Then just look for tire tracks and you got it. The "trail heads" are actually across a small river/creek back in the tree cover. Once you cross the creek (I had to walk since I'm old and fat) it is on in a big way. Variety, adventure, creek crossings, well marked trails!!!!It's got it all and nobody there. Recommended Route: The whole thing is sick Other recommended trails in the same area: Cleburne state park if you are more advanced and like climbing and dropping off of rocks. Mostly brutal rock climbs with some single track.

, from Abilene ,Texas Summary: I usually don't review trails unless Ive ridden them a couple of times, but once was enough for me to be real impressed. I like the speed at which you can blaze through these trails and still have a workout on small climbs. I live in West Texas and it is fun to ride on a trail with water crossings and streamside trails. Just be careful riding in the water cause the rocks are slippery. Recommended Route: All the routes are fun but definitely do the new trail built in the North West corner of the park its long and comes out to a fire road that you can fly down for half a mile or so.

, from Granbury, tx, USA Summary: Each trail offers a diversity of terrain. There is definately some difficulty in much of the rocky terrain with a physical break as it levels out one the plateau. There is good steepness on all three trails. Each trail has a creek bottom you have to cross or ride in. They are limestone bottoms, which provide a solid gripping ride. All three trails are loops. No matter how good you are these trails will offer a challenge. If Dallas gets the 2012 olympics then Dinosaur Valley will probably get the mountain biking venue. That in itself should stand for something.
Recommended Route: All three trails(3 miles a piece) are great for those who want a challenge and some adventure.
