easy fun begginer course, and super tough yet incredibly fun sport expert. such climbing, very very challenging on the legs and lungs.
go out past golf course at edge of town, go down road, and turn at the sign of a bike crossing thingy. if you get to the bridge, your too far. now, turn on road, go about 6 miles,(seems longer) and it dead ends in flat rock creek
Summary: This has been the funnest trail I have ridden in central Texas. They are in great shape, well marked and diverse. I really enjoyed the downhill sections with good drops and straight runouts that let you get some big air. One of my favorite sections is the jump at Hospital Hill.
Recommended Route: I rode one 9 mile loop each of the three days I was there. I liked both of them but I think the pipeline hill route was a tad more fun.

Summary: Great trails! The first time I went, my buddies and I decided to do the upper pasture first. Good God! Lots of uphills with short down hills, but definetly worth it. The mad bomber was awsome. The next time I went out we did the lower pasture. Awsome climbs and some very fast trails. The downhill course is sick, definetly suggest a full suspension for that. Overall the trails were awsome. I only wish they stayed open after September when it cools off some. If you like a challenging but rewarding ride come here.

Summary: Red trail is expert, and they mean it. Uphills are a real pain in the butt, but the downhills are worth it. Totally recommend it.
Recommended Route: Any.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Erwin Park, Ceder Hills, and Johnson branch in Dallas.

Summary: I've been riding hard for a year now, most of it out at O.P. Schnabel in San Antonio. My buds and I hit Jimmy's ranch this month and couldn't wait to get back. Over 18 miles of varying terrain. If you're new to biking you better build up your stamina before you consider this ride or your ride will be very short. Folks that are skittish on switchbacks will find themselves having to face down their fears as well. The Lower pasture is about 10 miles of ups and downs. It looks like you start at about 1500 ft where you park and from there you will hit 3 major peaks of 1900, 1904, and 1850 feet on the main trail runs. These are not head-on climbs. The Pipeline Climb is a good place to start on this loop, followed up with the Evil Worm, Crazy Ivan, and Terri's Trail sections. The latter being some ultra-smooth high-gear rolling action. When you make it back to your truck from this trail re-hydrate, carb up, and then try your luck at the Upper Pasture loop. Oh-my-god. Bring plenty of water. You climb, climb, climb, short downhill, climb, climb, climb, short downhill. This is why I said to take the Lower Pasture loop first. If you take the Upper one first you won't have anything left to do the Lower one, which is more "fun-oriented". The Upper is a technical workout. I loved it. Finally, hat's off to a man who is willing to open his land up to mountain bikers for a mere $5.00 per rider and provide so much in the way of trails. You are a true gentlman Jimmy! You get 4 stars cuz you don't have a compass heading on your trail map. :P Otherwise I can't think of a better place I'd rather ride.
Recommended Route: First timers should take the Lower Pasture loop. It's a riot!
Other recommended trails in the same area: O.P. Schnabel and surrounding trails. I have almost 25 miles mapped out there. Trails for all levels.
