Weekend Warrior Summary: First off, when you get off HWY 16, don't head west as the directions indicate. Head towards Long Lake as you would be going to the Southworth Ferry.
The trails are very nice and open but a few are overgrown and need some maintenance. Very fast and flat except for a few small climbs. A map would be especially helpful so if you google single track mind, that will take you to a bike club in tacoma where you can print a map.
I will definitely be back to these trails.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is awesome. Very fun but at the same time not very difficult. I love all the winding and rolling singletrack through the forest. This trail is great for anyone at a begginer to moderate level.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Was in Gig Harbor visiting family and brought my bike for some riding. The LBS suggested this place and it was a blast! 15 minutes east of Gig Harbor off Sedgwick Rd. Very fun single track. Would do this every week if I lived there. Kudos for those who keep the trails maintained. There are trail maps located at the parking area on Banner Rd. or you can pick them up at Old Town Cyclery in Gig Harbor for $2. This is a must if you never been there. They need better trail markings and more signs. So many trails criss-cross and with such a thick forest it's hard to tell where you're at at times. I was there on a Thursday and saw a few hikers and equestrian but they stayed on the main service road that wraps around the trail network. If you're in the Seattle/Tacoma area, definitely worth the drive. I'm from SoCal and would rate these trails similar to those found along the Santa Ana River trail system, maybe a little less technical then SART. Recommended Route: Favorite trail was Fusion

Cross Country Rider Summary: Was there about a month ago. The builders have been working hard. Bring your fenders, not super muddy but lots of puddles. Closest single track to downtown Seattle. Take the ferry from West Seattle. Don't take your car on the boat, it's only 3 !/2 miles or so from Southworth. Recommended Route: Find the wetlands, they are way cool.
